Julia Condon
Owner
Julia, an actor, singer, and entrepreneur, has been performing onstage in the Kansas City Metro since the age of five. When she first appeared as a princess for a charity event in 2015, she fell in love with the magic of character appearances and their ability to bring people together. In 2019, Julia began performing professionally for her first character company, Ever After KC. In the fall of 2020, she took over Upon A Dream and merged the two groups into one.
Stage credits include Jekyll & Hyde (ensemble), Newsies (Medda Larkin), Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia), Anything Goes (Evangeline Harcourt), The Brightest it's Ever Been (Kim), and more.

Kourteney Halksworth
Events Manager
Kourteney’s love for music, performing and princesses began early. By the age of 6, she was confidently belting “Part of Your World,” on car rides with her mother and sharing with everyone that Aladdin was, in fact, her boyfriend. As she grew older, those passions remained and became accompanied by a fierce love for the preciousness of children and the magic they possess.
Kourteney studied Musical Theatre at Wichita State University before embarking on her professional acting, dancing & singing career in Kansas City in 2017. She can’t wait to celebrate your little princess/prince with you!

Adiah Monet
Adiah was born and raised in the Kansas City area and has grown a love for music and community throughout her life. In adolescence she performed in several onstage productions and improv events locally with CYT, and sang for years with the Kansas City Girl's Choir. At age 14, she had a leading role in the short film "Tender" which went on to be featured in the 2010 Chicago Film Festival.
Now Adiah is a mom to a beautiful little princess and is a Certified Medical Assistant who works as part of a care team in the pediatrics department at a local family practice office. She can't wait to have the opportunity to celebrate with your little princess or prince in your castle!
Amelia Clark
Amelia lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband, Alex, several chickens, and their cat Liza. She teaches private voice and performs locally. Amelia has a Doctorate of Music in Voice from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She enjoys gardening, making clothes, and baking.


Athena Horton
Athena is a local mental health professional who shares a passion for the arts! Not only are they working on their Master of Social Work degree, they are an actor, singer, costume designer, and theatrical producer with 10+ years theatrical experience. Athena loves working for Upon A Dream because it provides them the opportunity to not only bring joy into a child's day, but be a part of helping that child see themselves and feel represented when they get a visit from their favorite princess.
Carly Graefe
Carly is a Senior at the University of Kansas studying music therapy. Eventually, she wants to work with underprivileged pre-adolescents and create music therapy programs that are accessible to everyone, regardless of financial status. Her desire to share music with others, extensive musical theatre & opera background, and love of ballgowns lead her to Upon a Dream. She could not be more grateful for the opportunity to share magic with all of you.


Erica Coleman
Erica has always had a passion for making people feel beautiful. She is a licensed cosmetologist, singer, and is making her debut as an actress. Erica was a Sunday school teacher for many years for young children and finds joy in encouraging creativity and imagination. Being a part of Upon A Dream is a dream come true for Erica as she can dress up, sing, and help children’s dreams come true.
Isabel Robb
Isabel has always had a life surrounded by music. She is a senior in high school and has been working with Upon A Dream for the past two years. Isabel has been involved with her school's theatrical department since her freshman year, and has gotten to be a part of St. James' productions of The Drowsy Chaperone and Hello, Dolly! She is also involved in choir, cross country, and lacrosse when not on stage.


Kaelana Mong
Kaelana is ecstatic to be part of Upon a Dream KC! She is currently getting her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre at Millikin University. Kaelana has worked with Upon A Dream for over a year and nannies on the side. She works well with children and loves the performing arts. Some notable roles Kaelana has taken on include: Katherine Plumber (Newsies), Morgan (Godspell), Roxie Hart (Chicago), and many more.
Maddison Novak
Since an early age, Maddison has been involved in various theatre productions in her community. She has a passion for singing, being outdoors and art; just like her favorite princess, Rapunzel. Growing up in a large family, Maddison also developed a passion for children through quality time spent with her younger siblings. She can't wait to help make your child's dreams come to life!


Maddy Phillip
Maddy is a KC native who is so excited to help make magic in her home kingdom! She's been involved in theatre, band, and choir for over 10 years, and recently graduated from Florida Tech with a degree in astrophysics. That's right; You can be a princess AND an astrophysicist.
Going to school in Florida also gave Maddy the opportunity to be a character actress for Eastern Florida and visit Disney World many times. She can neither confirm nor deny the number of times she's cried while meeting princesses.
Maddy loves teaching science to kiddos at Science City, flitting around as a faerie at the Renaissance Festival, and making magic by celebrating with you and the Kansas City kingdom!

Melody Herren
After watching princesses perform at Disney parks, Melody knew from a very young age that she wanted to perform and bring magic to people, just like magic was brought to her.
Throughout high school and college, Melody participated in several theatre productions and acted in forensics. Now, she is an outreach coordinator for a local nonprofit, but her passion for performance remains alive & well, and she’s overjoyed to share it with your princess or prince! After working as a cast member at Walt Disney World in Florida, she is thrilled to continue making magic in the Kansas City area.

Richelle King
Richelle is overjoyed to be part of Upon a Dream KC! Her love for singing, dancing, and princesses began at an early age. By the time she was six years old, Richelle was taking vocal lessons and competing in state competitions.
Richelle is originally from Fort Scott, KS and later moved to Kansas City to broaden her acting career. She played a lead in A Christmas Carol at the UMKC Repertatory Theatre, Mamma Mia! at the Barn Players Community Theatre, and many more. She's currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy at UMKC. Richelle is excited to celebrate your little princess/prince with you!

Sarah Schulte
Sarah, soprano, is originally from Chicago, IL and is the Director of Choirs at Park Hill South High School in Riverside, Missouri. Sarah graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Music Education, Summa Cum Laude, studying voice and opera. Sarah is passionate about music and education in the community, and has held multiple arts advocacy positions, including internships with Choral Arts Alliance of Missouri and Lyric Opera of Chicago. Sarah has sung abroad in China, Sweden, and Estonia, and has performed in local musical theatre and opera productions. When not princessing, Sarah teaches musical theatre with CYT KC and sings professionally with the choral ensemble Te Deum.
